A cette occasion, ils pr\u00e9senteront les principales d\u00e9couvertes d\u2019une \u00e9tude d\u2019envergure qui d\u00e9montre de fa\u00e7on concluante que la cranberry peut \u00eatre une approche nutritionnelle int\u00e9ressante pour r\u00e9duire les probl\u00e8mes urinaires chroniques et peut donc faire partie d\u2019une strat\u00e9gie pour diminuer la prise d\u2019antibiotiques dans le monde.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Selon cette \u00e9tude, r\u00e9cemment publi\u00e9e par l\u2019<em>American Journal of Clinical Nutrition<\/em>, boire 240 ml de jus de cranberry par jour permettrait de r\u00e9duire les infections urinaires chroniques de presque 40% chez les femmes. Cette baisse d\u2019infection permet donc de r\u00e9duire la prise d\u2019antibiotiques associ\u00e9e aux traitements li\u00e9s \u00e0 ces maladies. L\u2019auteure de l\u2019\u00e9tude, le Dr. Gupta, estime que la cranberry peut clairement am\u00e9liorer la vie des femmes souffrant chroniquement de g\u00eanes urinaires.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Le plus grand essai clinique sur la cranberry<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">L\u2019\u00e9tude s\u2019\u00e9tend sur 24 semaines et a \u00e9t\u00e9 men\u00e9e sur 373 femmes. Elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 conduite par des chercheurs de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Boston, de Biofortis Innovation Services (une division de Merieux Nutrisciences) et 18 sites cliniques en Europe et en France. Il s\u2019agit du plus grand essai clinique de la sorte qui examine les effets de la consommation de jus de cranberry sur les infections urinaires. Cette \u00e9tude s\u2019ajoute \u00e0 plus de 50 ans de recherche sur cette petite baie rouge et apporte un nouvel \u00e9clairage sur la capacit\u00e9 de ce fruit \u00e0 renforcer la sant\u00e9 des voies urinaires et \u00e0 r\u00e9duire les infections symptomatiques chez les victimes de probl\u00e8mes urinaires chroniques.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Les chercheurs pr\u00e9senteront la corr\u00e9lation entre la consommation de jus de cranberry et la protection contre les infections urinaires. Les participantes \u00e9taient toutes des femmes saines, avec un \u00e2ge moyen de 40 ans et qui ont eu au moins deux infections urinaires dans l\u2019ann\u00e9e pass\u00e9e. Pendant l\u2019\u00e9tude, les participantes ont \u00e9t\u00e9 al\u00e9atoirement choisies pour boire une dose quotidienne de 240 ml de jus de cranberry ou d\u2019une boisson placebo sans cranberry. Le taux d\u2019infections urinaires a significativement diminu\u00e9 pour celles ayant consomm\u00e9 du jus de cranberry, avec seulement 39 diagnostics pendant l\u2019\u00e9tude compar\u00e9 \u00e0 67 diagnostics pour le groupe ayant re\u00e7u le placebo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Les principaux sympt\u00f4mes d\u2019une cystite sont l\u2019inconfort d\u2019une envie persistante d\u2019uriner ou d\u2019avoir une sensation de br\u00fblure lors de la miction. Elles peuvent \u00eatre bact\u00e9riennes et sont diagnostiqu\u00e9es par les m\u00e9decins.
