Ces maladies sont dites multifactorielles, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire que leur apparition est caus\u00e9e par divers facteurs qu\u2019ils soient g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques et\/ou environnementaux. On les appelle facteurs de risques. <strong>L\u2019exc\u00e8s de cholest\u00e9rol est un des premiers facteurs de risque de maladies cardiovasculaires. <\/strong><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Comment ma\u00eetriser son cholest\u00e9rol ?<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Indispensable au fonctionnement du corps, le cholest\u00e9rol est une graisse fabriqu\u00e9e aux deux tiers par le foie et apport\u00e9e pour un tiers par l&rsquo;alimentation. Pour atteindre les diff\u00e9rents organes, le cholest\u00e9rol utilise des transporteurs qui lui permettent de circuler dans le sang. Les HDL, connus sous le nom de \u00ab\u00a0bon cholest\u00e9rol\u00a0\u00bb, r\u00e9cup\u00e8rent le cholest\u00e9rol en exc\u00e8s et le ram\u00e8nent au foie o\u00f9 il est transform\u00e9 avant d&rsquo;\u00eatre \u00e9limin\u00e9. Les LDL transportent le cholest\u00e9rol du foie vers toutes les cellules. Quand les LDL fonctionnent mal ou sont en exc\u00e8s, le taux de cholest\u00e9rol dans le sang augmente. Le cholest\u00e9rol s&rsquo;accumule et forme des plaques qui peu \u00e0 peu bouchent les art\u00e8res. C&rsquo;est pourquoi le LDL est surnomm\u00e9 le \u00ab\u00a0mauvais cholest\u00e9rol\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Avant tout, bouger et mieux manger\u00a0!<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La pr\u00e9vention des maladies cardiovasculaires repose avant tout sur le respect de r\u00e8gles hygi\u00e9no-di\u00e9t\u00e9tiques. L\u2019activit\u00e9 physique est essentielle. La performance n\u2019est pas l\u2019objectif, c\u2019est la r\u00e9gularit\u00e9 qui compte. Mieux vaut marcher tous les jours d\u2019un bon pas durant 30 minutes, plut\u00f4t que de faire une unique s\u00e9ance de sport le week-end. L\u2019activit\u00e9 est \u00e0 adapter aux possibilit\u00e9s de chacun et n\u2019oubliez pas que tout compte et tout s\u2019ajoute, y compris les heures <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fiftyandmemagazine.be\/fr\/sante\/garder-la-forme\/lhortitherapie-pour-se-sentir-mieux\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">de jardinage<\/a>, de m\u00e9nage et de bricolage. C\u00f4t\u00e9 alimentation, limitez la consommation des produits les plus riches en cholest\u00e9rol. Ne mangez pas trop gras et surtout choisissez les bonnes graisses comme l\u2019huile d\u2019olive dont les b\u00e9n\u00e9fices sont prouv\u00e9s. Privil\u00e9giez les poissons gras pour leur haute teneur en om\u00e9ga-3. Et surtout n\u2019oubliez pas les fruits et les l\u00e9gumes\u00a0! Et pour vous aider, pensez aux st\u00e9rols v\u00e9g\u00e9taux que vous pouvez maintenant \u00e9galement prendre sous forme de compl\u00e9ment nutritionnel. Les st\u00e9rols v\u00e9g\u00e9taux contribuent \u00e0 maitriser le cholest\u00e9rol de mani\u00e8re totalement naturelle. Demandez conseil \u00e0 votre pharmacien.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Le saviez-vous\u00a0?<\/strong> Le cholest\u00e9rol <strong>augmente avec l\u2019\u00e2ge<\/strong> et surtout <strong>chez la femme<\/strong>. Les femmes, avant la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fiftyandmemagazine.be\/fr\/sante\/menopause\/quels-sont-les-signes-de-la-premenopause\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">m\u00e9nopause,<\/a> ont un taux de cholest\u00e9rol total plus bas et un taux de bon cholest\u00e9rol (HDLC) plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 que les hommes du m\u00eame \u00e2ge. En effet, les \u0153strog\u00e8nes offrent une protection naturelle contre l\u2019augmentation du cholest\u00e9rol. Mais apr\u00e8s la m\u00e9nopause, le taux d\u2019\u0153strog\u00e8nes diminue, ce qui augmente le risque d\u2019\u00e9l\u00e9vation du LDL-cholest\u00e9rol.
