Suite \u00e0 un incendie de for\u00eat, des caf\u00e9iers en feu d\u00e9gag\u00e8rent une telle odeur all\u00e9chante que les villageois r\u00e9cup\u00e9r\u00e8rent les grains br\u00fbl\u00e9s, les \u00e9cras\u00e8rent et les firent infuser afin d&rsquo;en r\u00e9aliser un breuvage&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Quelques si\u00e8cles plus tard <\/strong>des tribus arabes firent griller les grains au soleil, avant de les piler pour les r\u00e9duire en poudre. Passant ensuite par Constantinople, Venise ou encore Paris, nombreux sont les mythes et l\u00e9gendes accroch\u00e9s \u00e0 la consommation de caf\u00e9. Mais, dans les faits, le caf\u00e9 est probablement l\u2019excitant le plus vendu \u2013librement- dans le monde.<strong> Un peu de culture&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><strong>De l\u2019arbuste vient la cerise\u2026<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Les caf\u00e9iers sont des arbustes, du genre Coffea. Ils peuvent vivre jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 40 ans et atteindre, \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tat sauvage, 10 m\u00e8tres. Pour en arriver l\u00e0, il y a deux \u00ab\u00a0voies\u00a0\u00bb, d\u2019une part la voie s\u00e8che (s\u00e9chage) et la voie humide (fermentation).<\/p>\n<p>La voie humide est la plus r\u00e9pandue, mais demande une grande consommation d\u2019eau. Un processus total de pr\u00e8s de 12 mois.
