200 capitales, autant de rues, et 7 ann\u00e9es de voyages autour du monde… Bien plus qu’un autre Livre d’Art, Streets of the World est un portrait de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9. A travers le regard du photographe belge Jeroen Swolfs, c’est une fen\u00eatre sur le monde qui s’ouvre \u00e0 nous sur : l’\u00e9ducation, \u00a0la jeunesse, l’exp\u00e9rience, le bonheur, la gastronomie, ou encore la sagesse.<\/p>\n

Quand la rue raconte une Histoire<\/h3>\n

Chaque image met en sc\u00e8ne une culture, des couleurs, des rituels. Jusqu’\u00e0 transmettre l’Histoire d’une ville et de tout un pays. \u00a0L’artiste voit en chaque rue un th\u00e8me puissant…\u00a0qui peut partir d’un port ou d’un quai de gare. Les rues sont un point de rendez-vous universel, une plate-forme o\u00f9 se croise la foule, un centre de nouvelles et de rumeurs, le chemin du travail et le terrain de jeux des enfants.<\/p>\n

A propos de l’artiste<\/h3>\n

Dipl\u00f4m\u00e9 de l’Amsterdam Photo Acadamy, Jeroen Swolfs commence comme reporter d’images. Son travail s’axe essentiellement sur les enjeux politiques et sociaux. A travers des reportages, il suit les r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s serbes ou encore la minorit\u00e9 \u00e9thnique des\u00a0Roms en l’Europe de l’Est. \u00a0Il a pris des clich\u00e9s pour\u00a0National Geographic,<\/em>\u00a0le Rijksmuseum d’Amsterdam, et bien d’autres. Depuis 2008, il se consacre \u00e0\u00a0Streets of the World.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Disponible online, sur Amazon, et dans les grandes librairies, Streets<\/span> of the World<\/span><\/i><\/b>\u00a0est aussi une exposition itin\u00e9rante (actuellement \u00e0 Copenhague) et fait l’objet d’un film pour National Geographic.<\/p>\n
