Le s\u00e9l\u00e9nium intervient \u00e9galement dans le processus de <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fiftyandmemagazine.be\/fr\/sante\/medecine\/stop-aux-infections-hivernales\">d\u00e9fense contre les virus<\/a> et les bact\u00e9ries.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On sait aujourd\u2019hui qu\u2019en cas de carence en s\u00e9l\u00e9nium, le stress oxydatif augmente. N\u2019oublions pas que le stress oxydatif est consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme l\u2019artisan majeur <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fiftyandmemagazine.be\/fr\/sante\/bien-vieillir\/conseils-et-astuces-pour-bien-vieillir\">du vieillissement pr\u00e9matur\u00e9 et des maladies d\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9ratives<\/a>. Le s\u00e9l\u00e9nium s\u2019oppose aux effets toxiques des radicaux libres sur l\u2019ADN dont la d\u00e9gradation serait responsable de la gen\u00e8se de certains probl\u00e8mes de sant\u00e9.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Se d\u00e9sintoxiquer des m\u00e9taux lourds<\/b><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Plomb, mercure, aluminium pour ne citer que les plus pr\u00e9sents dans notre environnement et dans notre alimentation \u00e0 cause de la pollution repr\u00e9sentent de v\u00e9ritables bombes \u00e0 retardement.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Il existe certains moyens pour \u00e9chapper aux dangers et limiter au minimum la pr\u00e9sence des m\u00e9taux lourds dans notre organisme.\u00a0Le premier moyen est bien entendu d\u2019\u00e9viter de s\u2019exposer \u00e0 leur pr\u00e9sence et de s\u2019abstenir de consommer des aliments pouvant \u00eatre contamin\u00e9s. L\u2019autre alternative \u00e9tant de se tourner vers le s\u00e9l\u00e9nium auquel on attribue des propri\u00e9t\u00e9s int\u00e9ressantes dans l\u2019\u00e9limination de ces m\u00e9taux lourds. Ce dernier va prot\u00e9ger le corps des effets toxiques des m\u00e9taux lourds en formant des m\u00e9tallothion\u00e9ines, ce qui entraine la perte du s\u00e9l\u00e9nium. Certains enzymes d\u00e9gradent ce complexe pour ensuite \u00e9liminer les m\u00e9taux lourds.<\/p>\n<h2>O\u00f9 le trouver ?<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Le corps ne synth\u00e9tise pas le s\u00e9l\u00e9nium.
