En effet, rester assis est devenu aussi banal que n\u00e9faste. L\u2019OMS qualifie m\u00eame cette inactivit\u00e9 physique de 4<sup>\u00e8me<\/sup> plus grand facteur de risque de d\u00e9c\u00e8s, apr\u00e8s l\u2019<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fiftyandmemagazine.be\/fr\/sante\/medecine\/la-tension-arterielle\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">hypertension art\u00e9rielle<\/a>, la cigarette et la glyc\u00e9mie. On estime que cette hyper-s\u00e9dentarit\u00e9 est responsable de pr\u00e8s de 3,2 millions de d\u00e9c\u00e8s chaque ann\u00e9e, dont plus de 670.000 d\u00e9c\u00e8s pr\u00e9matur\u00e9s (avant 60 ans).<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Une bombe \u00e0 retardement <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Le mode de vie actuel, qui consiste \u00e0 poser ses ischions sur une chaise pendant 9 heures (en moyenne) par jour, est une v\u00e9ritable bombe \u00e0 retardement. En effet, avec l&rsquo;arr\u00eat imm\u00e9diat de l&rsquo;activit\u00e9 \u00e9lectrique des muscles des jambes, on constate une diminution (apr\u00e8s 1 heure seulement en position assise\u00a0!) de 90 % des enzymes br\u00fblant les graisses qui se d\u00e9posent alors dans les vaisseaux. Au bout de 2 heures, on fait face \u00e0 un ralentissement de la m\u00e9tabolisation du glucose (diminuant de 20 % le niveau de bon <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fiftyandmemagazine.be\/fr\/sante\/medecine\/jai-de-cholesterol-fais-quoi\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">cholest\u00e9rol<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Une histoire \u00e0 dormir debout\u00a0? Ou une r\u00e9alit\u00e9 alarmante qui risque de bien de changer d\u00e9finitivement votre regard sur tous les fauteuils, aussi design et\/ou douillets qu\u2019ils soient, qui vous entourent. Heureusement, rester \u00ab\u00a0coll\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb sur sa chaise n\u2019est pas une fatalit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>5 trucs et astuces pour rester assis moins longtemps<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Utilisez un kit sans fil pour passer vos appels en marchant.<\/li>\n<li>Levez-vous pour aller boire un verre d\u2019eau toutes les heures (vous resterez hydrater toute la journ\u00e9e, serez donc moins fatigu\u00e9, et vous l\u00e8verez plus souvent pour aller au petit coin\u2026)<\/li>\n<li>Au travail, pr\u00e9f\u00e9rez les \u00ab standing meetings \u00bb aux r\u00e9unions o\u00f9 tout le monde est assis autour d\u2019une table. Mieux encore : essayez les \u00ab walking meetings \u00bb, pendant lesquels vous parlez tout en marchant (c\u2019est \u00e9galement excellent pour le cerveau)<\/li>\n<li>Garez-vous un peu plus loin (et tant qu\u2019\u00e0 faire o\u00f9 le parking est gratuit) et faites le reste du chemin \u00e0 pied. Si vous prenez les transports publics, restez debout plut\u00f4t que de vous asseoir.<\/li>\n<li>Vous devez vous rendre au 2<sup>\u00e8me<\/sup> \u00e9tage\u00a0? Oubliez l\u2019ascenseur, prenez les escaliers\u00a0!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Pour les plus connect\u00e9s, certaines a<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fiftyandmemagazine.be\/fr\/bien-etre\/notre-top-5-des-applications-mobiles-pour-les-50-ans-et-plus\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">pplications<\/a> proposent une s\u00e9rie d&rsquo;exercices \u00e0 r\u00e9aliser tous les jours ou un syst\u00e8me d\u2019alertes d\u00e9s que vous rester trop longtemps inactif\u00a0!
