Cela peut \u00eatre la perte d\u2019un parent \u00e2g\u00e9, la fin d\u2019une union, un licenciement ou des performances sexuelles qui commencent \u00e0 d\u00e9cliner.<\/p>\n<p>Pour certains, ces \u00e9v\u00e9nements d\u00e9passent le coup de blues et am\u00e8nent une <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fiftyandmemagazine.be\/fr\/bien-etre\/arrivee-de-lautomne-gare-a-la-depression-saisonniere\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">d\u00e9pression<\/a>. Surnomm\u00e9e la maladie du XXIe si\u00e8cle, elle est encore un sujet tabou dans notre soci\u00e9t\u00e9. Selon les chiffres officiels, quelque 9% de la population en Belgique est touch\u00e9e par une d\u00e9pression n\u00e9cessitant un traitement.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Comment d\u00e9tecter une d\u00e9pression ?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Pour les proches d\u2019une personne atteinte, il existe des signaux qui doivent alerter, classiques de la d\u00e9pression. Mais si l\u2019on ne sait pas o\u00f9 chercher, la pathologie peut \u00eatre prise pour une cons\u00e9quence du temps qui passe. Quinqua ou sexag\u00e9naire, il arrive en effet un moment o\u00f9 l\u2019on se retourne avec tristesse sur son pass\u00e9.<br \/>\nParmi les sympt\u00f4mes les plus souvent observ\u00e9s lors d\u2019une d\u00e9pression figurent\u00a0:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Une impression de tristesse permanente, des crises de larmes<\/li>\n<li>Une grande fatigue qui pousse \u00e0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fiftyandmemagazine.be\/fr\/sante\/garder-la-forme\/bien-dormir-sans-somnifere\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">dormir<\/a> plus que de raison<\/li>\n<li>Une perte d\u2019app\u00e9tit ou, au contraire, un besoin de manger sans faim<\/li>\n<li>Des troubles du comportement, comme une grande irritabilit\u00e9<\/li>\n<li>Un manque d\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat pour toutes les activit\u00e9s habituellement appr\u00e9ci\u00e9es<\/li>\n<li>Des id\u00e9es suicidaires<\/li>\n<li>La prise d\u2019<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fiftyandmemagazine.be\/fr\/sante\/bien-vieillir\/dangers-de-lalcool\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">alcool<\/a> ou de m\u00e9dicaments en grande quantit\u00e9<\/li>\n<li>Une certaine forme de lassitude, sans prendre plaisir \u00e0 vivre<\/li>\n<li>Un manque d\u2019attention pour les <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fiftyandmemagazine.be\/fr\/bien-etre\/famille\/garder-les-petits-enfants-corvee-ou-plaisir\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">petits-enfants<\/a> lors de leurs visites<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Quand s\u2019inqui\u00e9ter, et que faire\u00a0?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Attention \u00e0 ne pas confondre d\u00e9prime et d\u00e9pression. Si les sympt\u00f4mes peuvent \u00eatre similaires, la grosse diff\u00e9rence r\u00e9side dans la dur\u00e9e. Une d\u00e9prime n\u2019est que passag\u00e8re et n\u2019emp\u00eache pas de vivre normalement. Si la tristesse et les id\u00e9es noires durent et emp\u00eachent d\u2019avoir une vie normale, vous faites probablement face \u00e0 un proche frapp\u00e9 de d\u00e9pression. Une pathologie parfois aggrav\u00e9e par l\u2019\u00e2ge. Que faire\u00a0? R\u00e9agir. Toujours. Et rapidement. Comme le souligne le site <a href=\"http:\/\/www.medecinsendifficulte.be\">www.medecinsendifficulte.be<\/a> <em>\u00ab\u00a0il est essentiel de traiter une d\u00e9pression. Non prise en compte, elle peut mener au suicide (dans un cas sur 15). Plus l\u2019intervention est rapide, et plus il est facile de se remettre d\u2019une d\u00e9pression<\/em>.\u00a0\u00bb La consultation d\u2019un m\u00e9decin est donc n\u00e9cessaire.<\/p>\n<p>Avant toute approche m\u00e9dicamenteuse, votre assistance est primordiale pour garder le contact avec le d\u00e9pressif. Une femme, plus g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement. Le malade aura besoin de votre pr\u00e9sence et de votre \u00e9coute.<\/p>\n<p>La prise d\u2019antid\u00e9presseurs, souvent efficaces, sera accompagn\u00e9e d\u2019une approche psychologique pour soigner l\u2019origine de la maladie. Selon le Centre f\u00e9d\u00e9ral d\u2019expertise des soins de sant\u00e9, \u00ab\u00a0<em>la combinaison de m\u00e9dicaments et de psychoth\u00e9rapies permet une gu\u00e9rison plus rapide de la d\u00e9pression, qui peut durer de 4 \u00e0 6 mois, avec possibilit\u00e9 de rechutes<\/em>.\u00a0\u00bb<br \/>\nLes h\u00f4pitaux belges ont d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 des services d\u2019aide.
