N\u00e9 vers 1390. Comment \u00e9tait-il physiquement\u00a0? Aucune preuve tangible ne peut attester de ses traits. M\u00eame si les sp\u00e9cialistes de son \u0153uvre s\u2019accordent pour lui attribuer ceux de l\u2019\u0153uvre <em>Portrait d\u2019un homme<\/em>. Un probable autoportrait. A part le portrait de sa femme Margareta, sa vie priv\u00e9e nous est inconnue. De cet homme qui a notamment travaill\u00e9 pour le comte Jean de Bavi\u00e8re ou Philippe le Bon, il reste des \u0153uvres magnifiques. Dont la plus c\u00e9l\u00e8bre, le polyptyque <em>L\u2019Adoration de l\u2019Agneau mystique<\/em>.<br \/>\nJan Van Eyck meurt le 9 juillet 1441.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Que pr\u00e9sente l\u2019exposition\u00a0?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>S\u2019il vous faut une seule raison de vous rendre au MSK pour visiter <em>Van Eyck. Une r\u00e9volution optique<\/em>, en voici une\u00a0: l\u2019ensemble des volets restaur\u00e9s de <em>L\u2019Adoration de l\u2019Agneau mystique<\/em> sera pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 aux visiteurs. Et ce pour la derni\u00e8re fois hors de la cath\u00e9drale. L\u2019occasion de les admirer de plus pr\u00e8s. Dix autres peintures et un \u00ab\u00a0livre d\u2019heures\u00a0\u00bb seront pr\u00e9sent\u00e9s, en provenance de pays aussi divers que les Etats-Unis, l\u2019Allemagne, la Belgique, l\u2019Espagne ou la Roumanie. Un peintre mais aussi un fin lettr\u00e9, un pr\u00e9curseur qui signait ses \u0153uvres, conscient de l\u2019importance de son \u0153uvre. Au cours de la promenade artistique, le visiteur ne manquera pas de d\u00e9couvrir le pourquoi et le comment du titre de l\u2019exposition. Avec la d\u00e9couverte des th\u00e9matiques de l\u2019artiste, mais aussi ses techniques de peinture. En tout c\u2019est plus d\u2019une centaine d\u2019\u0153uvres, originales ou des copies, qui sera visible.<\/p>\n<p>Un mus\u00e9e des Beaux-Arts qui a mis les petits plats dans les grands pour ses visiteurs.
