Et voil\u00e0 que l\u2019apr\u00e8s-midi d\u00e9bute en mode &lsquo;b\u00e2illements r\u00e9p\u00e9t\u00e9s et envie de dormir&rsquo;. Ce <strong>coup de pompe apr\u00e8s le repas<\/strong> est \u00e0 la fois g\u00eanant et fr\u00e9quent. Il existe plusieurs solutions pour garder son \u00e9nergie et \u00e9viter le regard amus\u00e9 des coll\u00e8gues.<\/p>\n<h2>\u00c0 l\u2019origine de ce coup de pompe apr\u00e8s le repas<\/h2>\n<p>\u00ab Cette somnolence de d\u00e9but d\u2019apr\u00e8s-midi, dite post-prandiale dans le jargon m\u00e9dical, a pour origines le d\u00e9jeuner et le ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne de digestion qui s\u2019ensuit. Il faut savoir que le processus de digestion d\u2019un repas consomme g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement 10% de notre \u00e9nergie. Donc, plus vous aurez un d\u00e9jeuner copieux et plus la digestion sera longue et difficile. L\u2019id\u00e9al consiste \u00e0 pr\u00e9voir un d\u00e9jeuner peu riche en graisse, de friture notamment. Avec des l\u00e9gumes, des prot\u00e9ines et un fruit. Et des glucides complexes (pain complet pour le sandwich). Les sucres rapides seront plut\u00f4t remplac\u00e9s par des sucres lents. Pour \u00e9viter le pic d\u2019insuline et la somnolence associ\u00e9e \u00bb, explique Annie Leroy, nutritionniste.<br \/>\n\u00ab Mais, ajoute-t-elle, opter pour un repas frugal n\u2019emp\u00eachera pas totalement le ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne que d\u2019aucuns connaissent \u00e0 des degr\u00e9s divers. Il peut r\u00e9sulter d\u2019un d\u00e9ficit de sommeil nocturne. Mais aussi, \u00eatre d\u00e9clench\u00e9 par notre horloge biologique. Ce coup de mou se d\u00e9clenche naturellement vers 14 h. Un ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne bien connu des m\u00e9decins, fr\u00e9quent parmi les classes d\u2019\u00e2ges plus \u00e9lev\u00e9es, d\u00e8s la cinquantaine. \u00bb<br \/>\nLe ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne est bien compris par de plus en plus de responsables des ressources humaines, qui proposent \u00e0 leurs salari\u00e9s des possibilit\u00e9s de (courtes) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fiftyandmemagazine.be\/fr\/sante\/garder-la-forme\/la-sieste-un-bienfait-reparateur-a-encourager\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">siestes<\/a> pour retrouver un rendement optimal par la suite.<\/p>\n<h2>Certains \u00e9l\u00e9ments d\u00e9clencheurs<\/h2>\n<p>Cette somnolence peut r\u00e9sulter de divers facteurs aggravants. Dont :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Un manque d\u2019activit\u00e9 dans la journ\u00e9e, avec une s\u00e9dentarit\u00e9 excessive (comme du travail de bureau).<\/li>\n<li>Une consommation d\u2019alcool au d\u00e9jeuner. L\u2019alcool va provoquer l\u2019inhibition du message moteur vers les muscles, d\u2019o\u00f9 cette envie de dormir.<\/li>\n<li>Du diab\u00e8te.<\/li>\n<li>Une surcharge pond\u00e9rale.<\/li>\n<li>Un d\u00e9jeuner trop copieux.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">Une d\u00e9shydratation, m\u00eame l\u00e9g\u00e8re, donne g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement lieu \u00e0 un effet l\u00e9thargique.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Cinq r\u00e9flexes pour contrer le coup de barre post-d\u00e9jeuner<\/h2>\n<p>Plusieurs comportement positifs apportent des solutions bienvenues :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00c9viter un cadre de travail trop chauff\u00e9. La chaleur exacerbe l\u2019effet de somnolence.<\/li>\n<li>Privil\u00e9gier la consommation d\u2019eau. Le caf\u00e9, les sodas sucr\u00e9s et l\u2019alcool provoquent la d\u00e9shydratation.<\/li>\n<li>\u00c9viter le repas pris sur le pouce. Prendre son temps, pour d\u00e9compresser et bien mastiquer ses aliments afin de faciliter et d&rsquo;acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer la digestion. Ils consomment ainsi moins d\u2019\u00e9nergie.<\/li>\n<li>Profiter d\u2019une courte sieste. La sieste la plus r\u00e9paratrice ne doit pas d\u00e9passer les 15 minutes. Et ne pas atteindre les 30 minutes, p\u00e9riode o\u00f9 le r\u00e9veil, survenu en plein sommeil profond, ne sera pas b\u00e9n\u00e9fique pour d\u00e9buter la seconde partie de la journ\u00e9e.<\/li>\n<li>Sortir. Pour profiter de la lumi\u00e8re naturelle et pratiquer une petite <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fiftyandmemagazine.be\/fr\/sante\/garder-la-forme\/les-bienfaits-de-la-marche-rapide\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">activit\u00e9 physique<\/a>.
