Une maladie chronique intimement li\u00e9e \u00e0 la m\u00e9nopause. Avec plus de 680.000 malades en Belgique et quelque 100.000 fractures par an. Essentiellement f\u00e9minine, la maladie concerne \u00e9galement un homme de plus de 50 ans sur cinq. Une ost\u00e9oporose pour laquelle la pr\u00e9vention se r\u00e9v\u00e8le capitale. Avec des exercices physiques r\u00e9guliers et une alimentation adapt\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<h2>\nL\u2019ost\u00e9oporose, de quoi s\u2019agit-il\u00a0?<\/h2>\n<p>L\u2019ost\u00e9oporose se d\u00e9finit comme une maladie caract\u00e9ris\u00e9e par des os rendus fragiles par l\u2019alt\u00e9ration de la structure interne du tissu osseux. Et avec comme cons\u00e9quence majeure, le risque de fractures. Comme celle du col du f\u00e9mur. La maladie concerne tout particuli\u00e8rement les femmes m\u00e9nopaus\u00e9es ainsi que les femmes plus \u00e2g\u00e9es. Une ost\u00e9oporose dont le diagnostic repose sur un examen cibl\u00e9, l\u2019ost\u00e9odensitom\u00e9trie.<\/p>\n<h2>\nDe l\u2019importance des exercices physiques<\/h2>\n<p>Pr\u00e9venir l\u2019ost\u00e9oporose passe par l\u2019exercice physique pour \u00e9viter tout \u00e0 la fois le risque de fractures et la s\u00e9dentarit\u00e9, facteur de risque aggravant. Pratiquer des exercices physiques renforce les os par la formation de tissu osseux dans les zones les plus soumises au risque de fractures. Nombreux sont les sports \u00e0 privil\u00e9gier pour contrer l\u2019ost\u00e9oporose. Du v\u00e9lo \u00e0 la natation, en passant par la marche nordique ou le badminton. \u2028Sans oublier une excellente alternative, le jardinage. Pratiqu\u00e9 au moins une \u00e0 deux heures par semaine, il permet de ralentir la perte de densit\u00e9 osseuse et d\u2019emmagasiner de la vitamine D.<\/p>\n<h2>\nAdopter une alimentation cibl\u00e9e<\/h2>\n<p>Bouger suffisamment, mais aussi manger \u00e9quilibr\u00e9. Avec un apport suffisant en calcium, avec de 2 \u00e0 3 produits laitiers diff\u00e9rents, dont du yaourt et du fromage.\u00a0 Les produits laitiers prot\u00e8gent \u00e9galement les os par la pr\u00e9sence de prot\u00e9ines et de nutriments utiles. Conseill\u00e9s aussi, les fruits et l\u00e9gumes frais, riches en calcium comme le chou et le brocoli, ainsi que les poissons gras riches en om\u00e9ga-3, comme les sardines, le saumon, le maquereau ou les anchois. Le r\u00e9gime id\u00e9al passe par un apport suffisant en calcium, vitamine D ou en magn\u00e9sium. Alli\u00e9s d\u2019une bonne sant\u00e9 osseuse mais aussi musculaire.\u2028 A contrario, certains aliments sont \u00e0 \u00e9viter en cas d\u2019ost\u00e9oporose.
