Mais pour certaines femmes, il s\u2019agit plut\u00f4t d\u2019un sympt\u00f4me visible d\u2019un trouble m\u00e9connu : la <strong>trichotillomanie<\/strong>. Un comportement aux effets p\u00e9nibles, tout \u00e0 la fois physiques et psychologiques. Un trouble pour lequel un accompagnement s\u2019av\u00e8re possible.<\/p>\n<h2>\nLa trichotillomanie, de quoi s\u2019agit-il\u00a0?<\/h2>\n<p>La trichotillomanie est un <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fiftyandmemagazine.be\/fr\/sante\/onychophagie-comment-arreter-de-se-ronger-les-ongles\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">trouble obsessionnel compulsif<\/a>, souvent chronique, li\u00e9 \u00e0 un comportement anxieux. Les effets de la trichotillomanie se manifestent par l\u2019auto-arrachage des cheveux, des sourcils, des poils sur l\u2019ensemble du corps. Un arrachage qui n\u2019est pas toujours cibl\u00e9 sur une zone pr\u00e9cise. La trichotillomanie est r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement associ\u00e9e \u00e0 un autre trouble : la trichophagie. Soit l\u2019ingestion des poils et cheveux arrach\u00e9s, avec de possibles complications sur le syst\u00e8me digestif, comme un risque d\u2019occlusion. \u00ab Non seulement ce trouble peut engendrer une calvitie pr\u00e9coce, mais il agit aussi sur la vie sociale du sujet. Avec un repli sur soi provoqu\u00e9 par de la honte ressentie \u00bb, explique Nathalie Moens, coach comportementaliste. Selon les donn\u00e9es disponibles, environ 80 \u00e0 90% des cas \u00e9tudi\u00e9s seraient des femmes. Pourquoi ? \u00ab Parce que les femmes acceptent davantage de parler de leur probl\u00e8me \u00bb, r\u00e9pond Nathalie Moens.<\/p>\n<h2>\nUn trouble \u00e0 l\u2019origine incertaine<\/h2>\n<p>Quels sont les \u00e9l\u00e9ments d\u00e9clencheurs ? Une question \u00e0 laquelle les rares \u00e9tudes disponibles n\u2019apportent pas de r\u00e9ponses unanimes. Les origines de cette manie, pas toujours qualifi\u00e9e de pathologie dans les manuels, se r\u00e9v\u00e8lent plut\u00f4t \u00e9vasives. Mais le principal \u00e9l\u00e9ment d\u00e9clencheur cit\u00e9 serait li\u00e9 \u00e0 une mauvaise image de soi, g\u00e9n\u00e9ratrice de sentiments d\u2019angoisse et d\u2019anxi\u00e9t\u00e9. \u00ab S\u2019arracher les cheveux ou les poils permettrait \u00e0 ces personnes de faire retomber la pression. Mais cet auto-arrachage peut aussi n\u2019\u00eatre qu\u2019un d\u00e9rivatif pour tromper l\u2019ennui \u00bb explique Nathalie Moens.\u2028 Plusieurs \u00e9tudes \u00e9voquent des liens possibles avec le terrain g\u00e9n\u00e9tique ou les cons\u00e9quences d\u2019un traumatisme v\u00e9cu ou d\u2019une d\u00e9pression.<\/p>\n<h2>\nQuel accompagnement envisager\u00a0?<\/h2>\n<p>La personne concern\u00e9e peut avoir le r\u00e9flexe de consulter un dermatologue. Mais ce sp\u00e9cialiste ne pourra pas apporter la solution la plus efficace. Le trouble d\u00e9tect\u00e9 et le souci de le r\u00e9soudre accept\u00e9, la r\u00e9ponse ne peut relever que de la psychoth\u00e9rapie. Avec un suivi r\u00e9gulier avec le psychologue ou le psychiatre. Une approche th\u00e9rapeutique qui se veut multiple, sans r\u00e9sultat imm\u00e9diat. La solution r\u00e9clame de la patience et passe par des s\u00e9ances de TCC (th\u00e9rapie cognitivo-comportementale) au succ\u00e8s reconnu dans le traitement des troubles mentaux. Cette th\u00e9rapie repose sur la reconnaissance puis la modification progressive des actions n\u00e9gatives engendr\u00e9es par le trouble.
