L\u2019un des signes de la fatigue visuelle que les scientifiques qualifient sous le nom abscons d\u2019asth\u00e9nopie. Une pathologie courante et associ\u00e9e \u00e0 une trop grande utilisation des \u00e9crans. Quelques habitudes \u00e0 prendre peuvent aider \u00e0 soulager les yeux.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Une fatigue oculaire aux origines diverses<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">L\u2019\u2019asth\u00e9nopie ou fatigue visuelle constitue une pathologie, souvent b\u00e9gnine, tr\u00e8s pr\u00e9sente au sein du public. Selon les \u00e9tudes disponibles, entre 65 et 70% de la population (2) seraient concern\u00e9s. Un souci souvent associ\u00e9 \u00e0 un exc\u00e8s d\u2019\u00e9cran. Mais aussi \u00e0 un trouble visuel mal ou non corrig\u00e9. Comme un astigmatisme, une myopie ou une hyperm\u00e9tropie.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mais la fatigue oculaire peut \u00e9galement r\u00e9sulter d\u2019un exc\u00e8s de stress et\/ou de fatigue chronique. Cet \u00e9tat entra\u00eene une difficult\u00e9 des yeux \u00e0 se coordonner pour assurer une vision nette. Et par cons\u00e9quence, une plus grande fatigue oculaire. Ce que souligne l\u2019\u00e9tude publi\u00e9e en 2019 sur le site de la National Library of Medecine (3).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La fatigue oculaire peut mener \u00e0 des complications comme la DMLA (d\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9rescence maculaire li\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e2ge), plus fr\u00e9quente apr\u00e8s 50 ans. Un risque aggrav\u00e9 par une surexposition \u00e0 la lumi\u00e8re bleue des \u00e9crans et \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9clairage LED.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Des sympt\u00f4mes bien connus<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Certains signaux caract\u00e9risent ce besoin de reposer les yeux.\u00a0 Une vision troubl\u00e9e, voire floue. Des yeux rougis, souvent secs ou larmoyants avec cette sensation de picotement d\u00e9sagr\u00e9able. Mais aussi des maux de t\u00eate fr\u00e9quents, des douleurs ophtalmiques, des paupi\u00e8res tremblantes ou ce ressenti de voir des mouches noires dans le champ de vision<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La s\u00e9cheresse oculaire constat\u00e9e peut aggraver davantage celle d\u00e9j\u00e0 subie \u00e0 la m\u00e9nopause. La diminution de la production d\u2019oestrog\u00e8nes entra\u00eene en effet une s\u00e9cheresse cutan\u00e9e, vaginale mais aussi oculaire.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Autant de sympt\u00f4mes \u00e0 exposer \u00e0 un sp\u00e9cialiste pour poser un bon diagnostic et d\u00e9celer une \u00e9ventuelle pathologie plus grave.\u00a0 Comme le syndrome de Gougerot-Sj\u00f6gren.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Comment soulager ses yeux\u00a0?<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Limiter l\u2019utilisation des \u00e9crans ne suffit pas. Quelques exercices inscrits au quotidien peuvent aider \u00e0 aider les yeux \u00e0 se d\u00e9tendre et r\u00e9duire les sympt\u00f4mes constat\u00e9s. Si le probl\u00e8me est li\u00e9 \u00e0 une vision modifi\u00e9e, le port de lunettes ou de lentilles adapt\u00e9es constitue une solution efficace. Comme \u00e9galement l\u2019utilisation de collyres pour r\u00e9duire la s\u00e9cheresse oculaire. L\u2019achat de lunettes sp\u00e9ciales pour le travail sur \u00e9cran r\u00e9duit l\u2019exposition \u00e0 la lumi\u00e8re bleue.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Quelques petits exercices se montrent efficaces,\u00a0 comme le 20\/20\/20\/ Toutes les vingt minutes, il convient de proc\u00e9der \u00e0 une pause de 20 secondes en regardant \u00e0 environ 6 m\u00e8tres de son \u00e9cran (soit 20 pieds).
