Ce sont aussi des protecteurs vasculaires. Ils maintiennent la souplesse des art\u00e8res, \u00e9quilibrent la tension art\u00e9rielle, influencent le m\u00e9tabolisme du cholest\u00e9rol.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1030\" data-end=\"1271\">\u00c0 la m\u00e9nopause, leur chute brutale provoque un d\u00e9s\u00e9quilibre du syst\u00e8me de thermor\u00e9gulation. R\u00e9sultat : le cerveau interpr\u00e8te une temp\u00e9rature normale comme excessive\u2026 et d\u00e9clenche un m\u00e9canisme de refroidissement. D\u2019o\u00f9 les bouff\u00e9es de chaleur.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1273\" data-end=\"1532\">Mais ce ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne ne concerne pas uniquement la sensation thermique. Il s\u2019accompagne parfois de variations de pression art\u00e9rielle, d\u2019acc\u00e9l\u00e9rations du rythme cardiaque, voire de troubles du sommeil, autant de facteurs qui p\u00e8sent, \u00e0 long terme, sur le c\u0153ur.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1566\" data-end=\"1790\">Des \u00e9tudes comme la SWAN Study (Study of Women\u2019s Health Across the Nation) ont \u00e9tabli un lien entre fr\u00e9quence des bouff\u00e9es de chaleur et risque accru d\u2019hypertension, d\u2019ath\u00e9roscl\u00e9rose ou d\u2019accidents cardiovasculaires.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1792\" data-end=\"2020\">Les femmes qui ressentent des bouff\u00e9es de chaleur intenses ou prolong\u00e9es auraient un risque cardiovasculaire sup\u00e9rieur \u00e0 celles qui n\u2019en pr\u00e9sentent pas \u2014 et ce, ind\u00e9pendamment de leur poids ou de leur niveau d\u2019activit\u00e9 physique.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2022\" data-end=\"2166\">Pourquoi ? Parce que ces sympt\u00f4mes r\u00e9v\u00e8lent une vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9 vasculaire latente. Ils agissent comme un thermom\u00e8tre du syst\u00e8me circulatoire.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"2173\" data-end=\"2207\">Quand faut-il s\u2019en inqui\u00e9ter ?<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2209\" data-end=\"2323\">Il ne s\u2019agit pas de s\u2019alarmer au moindre coup de chaud. Mais certains signes m\u00e9ritent une attention particuli\u00e8re :<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2325\" data-end=\"2561\">\n<li data-start=\"2325\" data-end=\"2407\">\n<p data-start=\"2327\" data-end=\"2407\">Bouff\u00e9es de chaleur tr\u00e8s fr\u00e9quentes (plusieurs fois par jour) ou tr\u00e8s intenses ;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2408\" data-end=\"2457\">\n<p data-start=\"2410\" data-end=\"2457\">Sueurs nocturnes accompagn\u00e9es de palpitations ;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2458\" data-end=\"2500\">\n<p data-start=\"2460\" data-end=\"2500\">Fatigue inhabituelle au moindre effort ;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2501\" data-end=\"2561\">\n<p data-start=\"2503\" data-end=\"2561\">Sensation d\u2019oppression thoracique ou essoufflement r\u00e9cent.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"2563\" data-end=\"2755\">Dans ces cas, un bilan cardio-vasculaire pr\u00e9ventif peut s\u2019av\u00e9rer utile, surtout si d\u2019autres facteurs de risque sont pr\u00e9sents (ant\u00e9c\u00e9dents familiaux, tabac, surpoids, hypertension connue\u2026).<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"2762\" data-end=\"2805\">Ce que l\u2019on peut faire (d\u00e8s maintenant)<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2807\" data-end=\"2966\">Il existe des moyens simples et efficaces pour diminuer \u00e0 la fois l\u2019intensit\u00e9 des bouff\u00e9es\u2026 et prot\u00e9ger le c\u0153ur sur le long terme :<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2968\" data-end=\"3767\">\n<li data-start=\"2968\" data-end=\"3109\">\n<p data-start=\"2970\" data-end=\"3109\"><strong data-start=\"2970\" data-end=\"2992\">Bouger chaque jour<\/strong> : la marche rapide, le yoga dynamique ou la natation am\u00e9liorent la vasodilatation et r\u00e9duisent les pics de tension ;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3110\" data-end=\"3293\">\n<p data-start=\"3112\" data-end=\"3293\"><strong data-start=\"3112\" data-end=\"3161\">Miser sur une alimentation anti-inflammatoire<\/strong> : l\u00e9gumes color\u00e9s, l\u00e9gumineuses, om\u00e9ga-3, peu de sucres rapides, et des phyto-\u0153strog\u00e8nes naturels (soja ferment\u00e9, graines de lin) ;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3294\" data-end=\"3409\">\n<p data-start=\"3296\" data-end=\"3409\"><strong data-start=\"3296\" data-end=\"3321\">R\u00e9duire les excitants<\/strong> : caf\u00e9, alcool, \u00e9pices et repas copieux favorisent les bouff\u00e9es chez certaines femmes ;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3410\" data-end=\"3591\">\n<p data-start=\"3412\" data-end=\"3591\"><strong data-start=\"3412\" data-end=\"3436\">Apprendre \u00e0 respirer<\/strong> : des techniques comme la coh\u00e9rence cardiaque ou la respiration altern\u00e9e apaisent le syst\u00e8me nerveux autonome, souvent sursollicit\u00e9 pendant la m\u00e9nopause ;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3592\" data-end=\"3767\">\n<p data-start=\"3594\" data-end=\"3767\"><strong data-start=\"3594\" data-end=\"3639\">Parler d\u2019hormonoth\u00e9rapie avec son m\u00e9decin<\/strong> : dans certains cas, un traitement hormonal bien conduit peut att\u00e9nuer les bouff\u00e9es\u2026 et offrir une protection cardiovasculaire.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 data-start=\"3774\" data-end=\"3808\">Voir plus loin que le sympt\u00f4me<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"3810\" data-end=\"4079\">Longtemps minimis\u00e9es, les bouff\u00e9es de chaleur retrouvent aujourd\u2019hui leur v\u00e9ritable statut : <strong data-start=\"3903\" data-end=\"3935\">celui de messag\u00e8res pr\u00e9coces<\/strong>.
