De social media-app focust zich puur op het voeren van constructieve gesprekken via <strong>live audio<\/strong>. Dit in tegenstelling tot andere sociale apps, zoals Facebook en Instagram, waar het voornamelijk draait om het plaatsen van beelden. Op Clubhouse zul je dus geen berichten dalgona coffee&#8217;s, <em>outfits of the day<\/em> (#ootd) of avocado toast.<\/p>\n<p>Nee, in plaats daarvan kun je belanden in een<strong> grote vari\u00ebteit aan kamers <\/strong>wat je het beste kunt vergelijken met een soort <strong>chatroom<\/strong>. Je kunt kiezen waar je over wil praten: sports, tech, life, wellness, places, business, etcetera etcetera. Kies je bijvoorbeeld voor het topic ondernemen, dan zal je suggesties krijgen voor gesprekken die je kunt beluisteren. Je kunt dan gewoon meeluisteren met een discussie of je virtueel je hand opsteken en deelnemen. Zelf kun je ook een kamer aanmaken over een bepaald onderwerp waarna andere Clubhouse-gebruikers kunnen aanhaken. Het lijkt dus een goede en <em>coronaproof<\/em> vervanger te zijn voor de gesprekken die we anders hebben tijdens een avondje op caf\u00e9 of net tijdens belangrijke vergaderingen.<\/p>\n<p>Het is zomaar mogelijk om in een kamer te belanden met <strong>Oprah Winfrey<\/strong> of middenin een kritisch gesprek met <strong>Elon Musk<\/strong>, de mogelijkheden zijn eindeloos. Het gaat dus om \u00e9chte interactie en het uitwisselen van informatie.<\/p>\n<h2>Exclusiviteit<\/h2>\n<p>Enthousiast geworden en wil je de app direct uitproberen? Dan moeten we je teleurstellen: waar je op de meeste populaire social mediaplatforms vaak gemakkelijk een account aanmaakt, is dat bij Clubhouse anders. Voor deze app heb je namelijk een speciale &#8216;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.joinclubhouse.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>invite<\/strong><\/a>&#8216; nodig, een uitnodiging van een bekende die de app al gebruikt. Vraag dus zeker even rond als je interesse hebt, of je zoekt op LinkedIn of Twitter, want daar worden ze vaak aangeboden.<\/p>\n<p>Het platform &#8211; dat momenteel alleen geschikt is voor <strong>iPhone<\/strong> en overigens al een jaar bestaat &#8211; maakt het niet mogelijk om gesprekken achteraf terug te luisteren.
