Verre van de beste brunches in Brussel, zet Domenica de zon overdag onmiddellijk op het bord, dankzij de openhartige en genereuze smaken van Itali\u00eb, en in het decor, ultra kleurrijk en vrolijk. We mogen het gerust een van de best bewaarde geheimen van onze hoofdstad noemen. Mario Olimpio en chef-kok Giorgio Spatafora brengen een <i>cucina<\/i> met lef en persoonlijkheid. Hun carte blanche-menu (\u20ac 38) is een ode aan het seizoen, het product en de verbeelding, met combo\u2019s die verrassen en verleiden. We proeven er van carpaccio van rund met radicchio, walnotenpesto, gorgonzola, bieslook en peer, maar ook van groenten met allerlei texturen \u2026. Niet voor niets werd Matto bekroond met drie Good Food-koksmutsen: een erkenning voor hun verfijnde, inventieve kijk op de Italiaanse gastronomie. Het is een culinaire plek die zich niet in \u00e9\u00e9n woord laat vatten. Dit intieme restaurant-theater met slechts twaalf plaatsen is een creatie van chef San Degeimbre. Hier wordt het diner een zintuiglijke voorstelling: een menu in twaalf bedrijven, verdeeld over twee opvoeringen, waar licht, ritme en smaken samensmelten tot \u00e9\u00e9n harmonieus geheel. Jayu verenigt precisie en intu\u00eftie, techniek en emotie, in een subtiel evenwicht tussen Korea en Europa. Onder de naam La Rue de Demain groepeert hij vier adressen die eenzelfde filosofie delen: authenticiteit, samen genieten en huisbereid eten. Van de warme sfeer van brasserie Demain \u00e0 Main tot de rebelse wafels van Ta M\u00e8re la Gaufre, langs Le Tailleur de P\u00e2tes en Good Guy Smash: elk adres vertelt zijn eigen verhaal, met pure, eerlijke smaken in de hoofdrol. Vandaag schrijft het huis een nieuw hoofdstuk, en wel aan de Brusselse Louizalaan. Deze culinaire tempel blijft trouw aan de Japanse kunst van precisie en perfectie. In een warme setting serveert Le Samoura\u00ef gerechten die uitblinken in zuiverheid, versheid en verfijning: gebakken foie gras met mirin, gekarameliseerde zwarte kabeljauw en de bento van de dag. Charolais, Angus of Simmental: elk stuk vlees krijgt hier de perfecte garing en een onweerstaanbaar rokerige toets. Denk aan ribstuk om te delen, sappige burgers of geurige gegrilde groenten.
