Op het eerste zicht kan je je misschien wel vergissen, want ze zien er hetzelfde uit en zitten vaak ook in een gelijkaardige verpakking. Maar wat voedingswaarde betreft, zijn de twee producten fundamenteel anders. Margarine, een product van natuurlijke origine, is gemaakt van plantaardige ingredi\u00ebnten. Boter daarentegen is een zuivelproduct dat gemaakt wordt op basis van koemelk. Net zoals boter gebruiken we margarine in de keuken om te koken en bakken. Idem om ons brood te besmeren, met dat verschil dat margarine ogenblikkelijk smelt op je brood. Je hoeft ze niet op voorhand zacht te laten worden. En om het nog makkelijker te maken, bestaat margarine ook in vloeibare vorm: extra praktisch in de keuken. Tot zover de \u2018uiterlijke\u2019 eigenschappen van margarine. Waar we vooral van houden, zijn de \u2018innerlijke\u2019 kwaliteiten van margarine, van zijn goede invloed op onze onvervangbare gezondheid. Ze bevat ook <strong>vitamine E en linolzuur<\/strong>. Die goede vetten zorgen voor een goed cholesterolgehalte en houden je hart en bloedvaten gezond.
