We\u00a0krijgen echter\u00a0veel zout binnen. De gemiddelde zoutinname van volwassenen in Belgi\u00eb bedraagt ongeveer 10,5 g per dag. De Hoge Gezondheidsraad (HGR) beveelt aan om de zoutconsumptie terug te brengen tot &lt;5 g per dag<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4416\" src=\"http:\/\/www.life-magazine.be\/nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/shutterstock_178576628.jpg\" alt=\"life-magazine\" width=\"1000\" height=\"667\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.fiftyandmemagazine.be\/nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/shutterstock_178576628.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/www.fiftyandmemagazine.be\/nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/shutterstock_178576628-624x416.jpg 624w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Het is vaak een vaste gewoonte: zout toevoegen tijdens het koken of aan tafel. De meeste mensen eten veel meer zout dan de aanbevolen 6 gram per dag.\u00a0Minder zout eten kan je bloeddruk doen dalen en dat is gunstig voor je hart.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Op zich is het niet moeilijk om met dat automatisme te stoppen. Het zal je verbazen hoe snel je smaakpapillen hieraan wennen. Als je langzaam maar zeker minder zout toevoegt, zul je weinig verschil merken.<\/p>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">STAP VOOR STAP NAAR MINDER ZOUT<\/span><\/h1>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.life-magazine.be\/nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/Life-magazine1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4415\" src=\"http:\/\/www.life-magazine.be\/nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/Life-magazine1.jpg\" alt=\"Life-magazine\" width=\"1000\" height=\"667\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.fiftyandmemagazine.be\/nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/Life-magazine1.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/www.fiftyandmemagazine.be\/nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/Life-magazine1-624x416.jpg 624w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Enkele tips om minder zout te eten:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Vergeet niet om <strong>op de etiketten te kijken<\/strong>.\u00a0Meestal staat er niet &#8216;zout&#8217; op het etiket, maar &#8216;natrium&#8217; (6g zout komt overeen met 2,5g natrium). Kijk ook naar de hoeveelheid die je per portie binnenkrijgt; vaak staat dat op het etiket aangegeven.<\/li>\n<li>Probeer <strong>steeds een beetje minder zout toe te voegen tijdens het koken<\/strong> (bijvoorbeeld bij het koken van groenten, pasta of rijst). Als je eraan gewend bent, kun je het zout helemaal weglaten.<\/li>\n<li>Experimenteer in de keuken met <strong>kruiden<\/strong> om minder zout toe te voegen<\/li>\n<li>Zet <strong>geen zoutvaatje meer op tafel<\/strong> tijdens het eten. Proef het eten eerst.<\/li>\n<li>Pas op met <strong>hartige snacks<\/strong>, zoals chips en gezouten noten. Ook <strong>kant- en-klaarmaaltijden<\/strong> en fastfood bevatten veel zout, net zoals <strong>vleeswaren<\/strong> als rauwe ham en ontbijtspek.<\/li>\n<li>Eet <strong>veel fruit en groenten<\/strong>. Eet minstens 300 gram groenten en 200 gram fruit, maar meer mag altijd!<\/li>\n<li>Wees <strong>zuinig met smaakmakers<\/strong> zoals ketchup.
