Vermout is een versterkte wijn die op smaak wordt gebracht met aromatische planten en kruiden. In de jaren &#8217;60 en &#8217;70 dronk iedereen vermout. Dan kwamen de grote industri\u00eble merken op, maar stilaan is er weer plaats voor kleine, lokale distilleerderijen. De negroni is een van de drie meest verkochte old style cocktails.\u00a0Voor mij is de negroni een klassieker, hij is terug van nooit weggeweest.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Wat is er typisch aan de Forest Vermouth, de eerste Belgische vermout?<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;Er zijn veel Belgische linken. Forest Vermouth wordt gemaakt op basis van Italiaanse witte Montepulciano-wijn, maar van een huis met Belgische roots. Die laten we naar Belgi\u00eb komen en lengen we\u00a0aan met onze eigen alcohol tot 20\u00b0. Ook de wijnvaten waarop de vermout rijpt, komen van prestigieuze Franse wijnhuizen uit Sauternes en Pomerol met Belgische wortels. We voegen 52 kruiden en specerijen toe van onze eigen tuin in de nabijheid van Antwerpen, wat een ongelofelijke complexiteit geeft. Tenslotte gebruiken we geen karamel om de vermout\u00a0te kleuren, maar vers pompelmoessap.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Serveert u de negroni in The Glorious op de klassieke manier of geeft u er een eigen twist aan?<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;Klassiek wordt een negroni\u00a0on the rocks in een tumbler geserveerd, maar dat doen wij niet.
