De voorbije decennia exposeerde Dillemans slechts enkele malen, onder meer in het Antwerpse Rubenshuis en in het Kasteel van Gaasbeek, waar hij een reeks schrijversportretten toonde.<br \/>\nDe kunstenaar renoveerde een voormalig werkhuis op een steenworp van zijn atelier in Borgerhout. Het is de bedoeling om met regelmaat en gedurende een langere periode\u00a0 kunstwerken te tonen, die representatief zijn voor de verschillende artistieke periodes in zijn curriculum of recente werken rond een bepaald inspirerend thema.
